Chadi Adib Salama

Born in Cairo Egypt in 1980, Visual Artist & Curator, work as Assistant Professor in The Design Art Department, Faculty of Art Education, Helwan University. He attained an M.A. specializing in Design Studies. In his art projects, his main interest is the concept of Time & the concepts that relate with it (The Past, The Present & The Future) and how they affect our life. In his artworks Salama uses popular multi-cultural visual elements that . he has executed a number of multimedia art projects - such as (One pound 2010 - The Trip of KA 2010 - Dreams 2009 – The Nile 2008 - Green Space 2007 – Child Dream 2007 - Old Dream 2005- the Road 2003- What’s after? 2002 - The Dream 2002  - Hands 1999) - manipulating different visual elements and media including installations, interactive digital installation, book art, wall painting, video, performance art & painting, exhibited in various Exhibitions & Festivals in Italy, France, USA, Germany, Macedonia, Lebanon and Egypt.
Salama is the recipient of various awards, amongst which are two grand prizes in the 18th and 19th Youth Salons in 2007 and 2008 respectively.
